Sudoku at 30,000 feet

Because you don't always have control of the wheel or the wind or the view.
Because it is easy to lose yourself in the noise of your neighbors.
Because you need to distract your mind's hovering bees.
Because there is a certain sweetness in the quiet search for answers.
Because there is beauty in limitation.
Because the space between Houston and home is a necessary limbo.
Because when the words don't come, the numbers sometimes do.
Because the stranger before you gave you the room.
Because you are far more capable than you believe.
Because the smallest attention feels the most like prayer.
